After more than a handful of visits to Disney over the years, our family has definitely settled on the list of best places to eat in Magic Kingdom that meet these criteria: Our list includes at least one spot in almost every corner of the park. No matter where you are, great food is just a short walk away.

Disney Dining can be overwhelming for a first timer. How do I know? Because I still find it a little overwhelming even after 8+ trips to Walt Disney World! Whether it’s your first trip or your just brushing up on things before you go back after a long break, here are some tips to help you navigate quick service dining at Disney:
Our Favorite Quick Service Restaurants
After a few misses during our earlier trips, we have finally nailed the best spots to eat. Here are the names of the restaurants, where you can find them, and our favorite things to order on each menu. Over the years and several trips to Magic Kingdom, I’ve dined at many quick service restaurants in the park. During our most recent visit, I finally discovered my favorite:
Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland
Casey’s Corner on Main Street
BONUS: Disney’s Polynesian Resort
One of my absolute FAVORITE quick service restaurants isn’t inside Magic Kingdom but is the perfect place to take a mid-day break outside of the park if you plan to go back in for evening fun. This is the perfect quick service restaurant for families who enjoy tacos, nachos, and hamburgers. We spent our morning in Fantasyland and headed towards Frontierland for the afternoon with a stop at Pecos Bill for lunch before we got going on the next leg of fun. We ordered pork carnitas nachos and cheeseburgers but you can view the whole menu here. You can view the entire menu here. Their fresh fruit waffle sandwich is one of my top Disney treats in the entire Disney World. There are very few tables available nearby the counter, so plan to take your food on the go. This is a great option if you’re looking for something to eat while waiting on the sidewalk for a parade or the fireworks. If you are spending the morning in Fantasyland, it is very likely both you and the kids are hungrier than you think. Avoid a meltdown and grab a mid-morning treat at Gaston’s. Gaston’s also serves amazing, giant, warm cinnamon rolls. They are definitely large enough to share. We usually get 1 – 2 LeFou’s Brew and 1 – 2 cinnamon rolls to split among all four of us depending on how hungry we are. You can view the whole menu here. Corn dog nuggets, chili dogs, chili fries, and other classics are available on their simple menu. Grab something to eat and hunker down on the sidewalks just before the parade passes by. You can view the entire menu here. It is also a great spot to enjoy an easy dinner on your way out of the park at the end of the day. Capt. Cooks in the Polynesian Resort is just a quick monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom. We’ve enjoyed eating there for both breakfast and lunch. It’s a great spot to get the infamous tonga toast (one of my essential Disney treats!) But the pulled pork nachos may be the most delicious thing I ate at Disney during our most recent trip.
